Price List

Galaxy has 14 spacious rooms and cabanas. The prices are inclusive of all taxes and service charges.

Arugam Bay has delightful weather throughout the year. The best time for visiting Yala and enjoying the wildlife is during January to May when there is plenty of water in the park and birds are in abundance. The main surf season is April to October, although surfing is still possible at other times of the year. Our rainy season is very short in comparison to the rest of Sri Lanka.

How to travel from the airport to Arugam Bay.

We can arrange a taxi to pick you up from the airport. It is a mini van with reclining seats so comfortable for sleeping and big enough to fit surf boards and luggage. The trip takes about 8hrs. It can fit up to 5 people but this is dependant on the amount of luggage.

Traveling by train is cheap and very scenic but takes longer. You can get the train from Colombo to Ella. You might want to stay one night in Ella before traveling on to Arugam Bay either by taxi or bus. From Colombo to Ella the journey will take at least 11hrs and from Ella to Arugam Bay, at least 3hrs.

By bus is also extremely cheap but there are only 2 per day so it depends what time your plane lands. This takes about 8hrs, but you will first need to travel to Colombo from the airport which takes about 1hr by taxi.
